My first Christmas Cards for 2017

I thought I would try using my distress inks and the Lovely as Tree Stamp from Stampin Up.
The layers were cut  using the Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities,Grand Large Labels dies.
A punch was used for the moon and I tore the clouds  from a post it note.,to use as masks.
Distress ink Stormy sky  was used for the sky  and  Hickory Smoke for the trees. Added the flowers and Sentiment.

The second card was cut using the same layers , just  adding the moon.
Distress inks used were Squeezed Lemon and Dried Marigold. ,the trees stamped
using  Brush Corduroy.I did second generation stamping on each card.

I love the Lovely as a tree stamps, there is so much you can do with them.

Good Morning  everyone,  not a vey nice morning today, rain,, rain ,rain.,it's so dull.
Today I am adding two cards I have made using the 3-2-1 embossing folder,it's so pretty and can be used for all occasions.

All Occasion 3-2-1 Cards

The first card is white, just using the embossing folder, adding the flowers and
diamante and the sentiment.

I inked the second one with my brayer, using Pumice Stone
Distress Ink., but the ink just seemed not to go on as smooth as I wanted it too.
I was going to throw it away, but on reflection thought it
would make a lovely vintage card.

I added the flowers, butterfly and the diamante . I'm now quite happy with the finished result.

Vintage !

Saturday 2 September 2017

I enjoyed making this card, I watched Sheena Douglas
making the faux leather background with glycerine and water on to
Kraft Card, I then distressed it and ran it through an embossing folder.
The metal corners were added together with the hessian ,owl and
sentiment.

I used the  Sheena Douglas stamped image and water coloured the picture,
, adding the Lovely as tree stamp SU stamps on the other page.

A selection of men's cards I made.,
I like to make a few in hand,in case anyone
asks for a card at the last minute.
These were quick and easy to make.

Good afternoon everyone, this card is made using LaPashe images.

It is for a friend, I only hope he finds it funny.

Friday 1 September 2017

I used peel offs to make this card a while ago  and

coloured them with Promarkers
I made this card using papers and vellum

from my stash

I made this card for a friend who wasn't feeling too well, I
wanted something to make him smile,he's a golfer

It took me a while to find the verses  and the right words

The photo and flower images are from when we visited the
 Botanical Gardens.

This is a commisioned card for Fathers Day, for a stepfather
which I thought was a lovely idea.
All the papers etc are from my stash.
Good afternoon everyone, it's a lovely day today, this is a  card using the
Creative expression Dies by Sue Wilson Necessities - Apron 12 pieces.

The top of the card is mounted on a patterned mirri card, the border  background paper
I found on the web. I used paper for the apron from my stash (which never seems to go down).
The baking tools I cut from white card,  a silver ink pad to colour  was used fr the knives, forks etc. The rolling pin was distressed while still in the die.
