One of the Calendars I have made for 2015, using photographs I have taken, and also some given to me by friends. 

I  live in a beautiful area of the UK, the Dukeries, in Nottinghamshire and the Derbyshire Dales., and not too far away are the Yorkshire moors. Just a small assortment of  photos I have used.

1st December 2014 This is my Christmas Card Design for 2014 , a red 6" x 6" card was used for the card. I cut the white Merry Christmas using the Memory Box Die, and put the Tartan ribbon across the width of the card. ( I love tartan ribbon)

Hi everyone, at last I can upload the last two cards I have  made., I've been waiting for the recipients  to receive their cards for their birthdays. They are both grand piano birthday cards. I cut out the shapes., using Black card, then lined each with different backing papers.

I inked around the edges of this one, cut out the piano notes added flowers,ribbon and charms

I stamped around the edges of this one with a small flourish, made a small music book. decorated the card with flowers and added pearls, spiders web bow and  my hand made pins. I enjoyed making both of these cards. Thank you to valitasfreshfolds.blogspot.com for giving me permission to use her idea. Good afternoon everyone, a beautiful sunny day today, it would be nice to be at the coast today.Today I have been helping my grandson make a card for his Dad's birthday on Monday.He did the tagxedo,and chose all the colours,buttons etc, but as for gluing I'm afraid x box came first. He just has to write a verse to put in it.

Crossover Birthday Card Hi everyone, I have another 90th birthday card, together with a box ,I have made. The card is a 6" x 6" crossover card using 5th Avenue papers and ribbon and flowers from my stash. I have put  a large tag with a verse and a smaller tag to write on .  The box has been decorated to match

Hi everyone, what a beautiful day, I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine. Today I have a box I made to go with the birthday card from 14th July.

Birthday Card Good Afternoon everyone, how the days, and months seem to be flying by. It's good to have the sunshine and warm weather. Today I have a card made for my Aunt's 90th birthday, I made the card using the A4 Jus-Cutz dies. I cut a folded card blank using the Nested Decorative Shapes No 1 dies making a 6" card, together with a topper  using Deco Edge Decorative Shapes No 1 large die.

The backing paper was very pale pink cut using the Nested Decorative  shape and layered with another white card using the Deco Edge shape. Using another piece of the same backing paper I cut this with the Cheery Lynn Chicken Wire Frame die,  and trimmed the frame off.  Cheery Lynn fanciful flourish was used for the leaves and Heartfelt Creations Delicate Aster die for the flowers. I coloured the flowers with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and added pearls to the center of each flower. Ribbon and Pearls were added from my stash together with the Memory Box Butterfly die Pippi. Spellbinders Floral ovals die was used for the sentiment.

Good afternoon everyone on this lovely sunny day, really makes me feel so much  better when the sun shines. I am adding this card to my blog, I haven't quite finished it, as it could be used either as a birth, christening,or birthday card. It is the first card I have made like this, and have thought of other designs of how to decorate the template.

Dr Who - Dalek Card

I bought the template for this  Dalek card from    valitasfreshfolds.blogspot.com  , it is fiddly to do , but I enjoyed making it for one of my grandsons. All three of them are Dr Who fans.

Dr Who  card- This card is 8 x8 , I used a background I found on the internet and the Dr Who image was from a friend Pinkjools...... I think the background goes well with the image

I always get stuck on the sentiment, but I think this is ok.

Anniversary Card - for this card I used Ivory  and Beige pearl card. The die used for the trellis is Spellbinders Shapeabilities Expandable pattern die Fancy Lattice. I think it makes a lovely background for the Memory Box Prim Poppy die.The butterfly is the Pippi Memory Box die. The ribbon and embellishments are from my stash.

I added the sentiment at a later date, just before posting this card.

I still haven't been able to be on here as often as I would like, but I have been busy  crafting., new designs  and  different crafts etc.  Today I have a backing paper that I have made its a  Pink Lace Design..... This is a card I made during February for my grandsons 15th birthday using  Tagxedo, I enjoy making these cards and they are easy and something different for a male card.

Good morning everyone on this bright and sunny day, looks as though spring is here at last. Today my card is one I made for a special friend for his 13th birthday.It is using the Tagxedo word art which is

fun to do,you can use many shapes and styles for your cards. I was lucky that when I spun my work it came to a frame shape which worked well for this card.

and added the purple ribbon and embellishments.

Good Afternoon , its been trying to snow today but not for long, thank goodness. On my card today I used a free whimsy stamp that came with a magazine. 

I cut the white hammered card with a Just Cutz die, the card was lined on the inside and outside with paper used from a Crate Paper Farmhouse 6 x 6 pad which I bought from TK Max for £2.99. I stamped and coloured the image with promarkers  and distress ink. The flowers, ribbon and pearls etc are from my stash

Good afternoon, everyone, its been a better day today, at least we have had some sunshine. It rained most of yesterday, but at least we haven't had the snow.

I made the card using a Just Cutz die,love the shape of it. The Whimsy stamp was a free one from a magazine I have coloured the image with promarks added roses from WOC and the rest is from my stash. (Will I ever use it up) The lace I bought at the Ross Paper Craft show yesterday. .

Good afternoon everyone, it's been a lovely sunny  day here . The project I am uploading today is of a Valentine Exploding Box, made with the help of my grandson, for  his girlfriend. ( both aged 11).

The box is made with White hammered Card and embossed with three different embossing folders. The flowers are from The Works.  Hearts and butterflies are punched Pearls were from my stash.  Nellie Snellen and Spellbinders dies., were used for the die cuts. beautiful handmade stamp.,which I have had for quite some time. I am not sure if it is still available. I have used the following for the card. White hammered card Frame made using Grand Nestabilities Large Label Die Craft Too embossing folder Bravura Stamp  Encore Ultimate Metallic Silver Ink Pad Flowers,ribbons,Pearls etc are from my stash.  The flowers I bought at the local garden centre,on a spray, I then take the spray apart and get dozens of flowers from each spray.You can usually get them in quite a few different colours.
